[Discussion] Does anyone use a single key prefix?
People might be interested in the plugin tmux-modal (https://www.reddit.com/r/tmux/comments/spyiv1/new_plugin_tmuxmodal_execute_complex_tmux/). With this you get a modal mode in tmux and can execute complex tmux commands in just a few keystrokes (see the README for more information)

Attach remote sessions locally?
Like the other user, the best I've gotten is nesting w/ alternate prefixes. Though looking at a plugin like tmux-modal, it's possible to set a keybinding that unbinds your prefix key-table, sets some sort of visual notification/status, then rebinds your prefix key-table when that key is pressed again (in essence insert mode for tmux).

If you use tmux, you might like this plugin
tmux has a very powerful binding command, where one can "chain" several "groups", called key tables in tmux. tmux-modal defines a bunch of key tables and "chain" them. If you know bash, the main file should be quite easy to read (you probably need some knowledge of tmux commands as well I guess).

New plugin: tmux-modal - Execute complex tmux commands in just a few keystrokes
Hm, I'm guessing many would want this. Great suggestion! Would you mind creating an issue with this feature request? Thank you!

what is your tmux keymaps ?
If you are interested in bindings that are designed to be efficient, easy to remember and comfortable, take a look at tmux-modal. It's a plugin that introduces a modal mode (e.g. like in Vim text editor) that enables execution of complex tmux commands with just a few keystrokes!

Made my config as clean as possible...😮💨😮💨 Share your recommendations... Most of the distros look beautiful but seems really unorganized to me....
It means you can have your definitions and the config in the same file just by returning a table containing the confit and GitHub path, for example.
