Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

We built Activepieces to replace Zapier + learnings from last post
What differentiates this from things like n8n, node red, and stackstorm? (which sort of occupy a zapier replacement, IoT automation, and infra automation niche, respectively)

- StackStorm (a.k.a. “IFTTT for Ops”) is event-driven automation

Event-driven Ansible looks awsome
Very cool! This reminds me of some of the event-driven automation tools like Stackstorm, letting you define triggers/events to subscribe to, and then take actions based on a defined rule set.

Workflow automation for smaller use-cases
Closest in the Python world is Stackstorm (massive overkill for a desktop use-case, Linux only), or Dagster (great for data processing, not designed for admin tasks).

Orchestrator self hosted
Node-Red or https://stackstorm.com? Stackstorm seems more geared towards infrastructure whereas Node-Red is more geared towards IOT. Stackstorm also has a web UI, just have to install it separately.

Is idempotence (also) managed server-side?
I have played with StackStorm a little bit, and it could also do what you describe... but it may or may not be over-engineered for your use-case.

Show HN: Making an open source project regrouping the most interesting AI APIs
Hi,
I'm working on a project that regroups all best AI (AIaaS) from different providers (GCP, AWS, Azure, DeepL, etc.) [in one API](https://github.com/edenai/edenai-apis).
I've got asked the question : *why aren't you regrouping Open Source models (instead of proprietary APIs) into one repo?* well because it doesn't make sens to deploy and maintain large pytorch (or other framework) AI models (especially for document parsing, image and video moderation or speech recognition) in every solution that wants AI capabilities. So using APIs makes way more sens.
Deployed OpenSource models are being included using different APIs like HuggingFace and other equivalents.
The current plan is to add some of these AI capabilities into [n8n automation](https://github.com/n8n-io/n8n) and [Odoo App](https://github.com/odoo/odoo) (*receipt, resume* and *ID document parsing, content moderation* and *translation*) .
Some other capabilities can include : *summarization, keyword extraction, sentiment analysis* for text data and also *speech to text* or *image* and *video tagging*.
Do you know other Open Source projects You want this could integrate to ?

Opinions on tech stack
Self-hosted alternative of Zapier/Make is n8n.io.
-
What Open Source project do you think would need AI integration (text, image, video, speech analysis or automatic documents parsing) ?
We're currently adding some of these AI capabilities into n8n automation and Odoo App (receipt, resume and ID document parsing, content moderation and translation) .

💻 Software - n8n - I have been using n8n all this week to automate publishing my blog posts as well as some of my tweets. If you haven't heard of n8n it is like a self-hosted IFTTT. I will do a blog post soon on how to set all this up. I currently have it running for free on Railway.
