Screens 4 for Remote Desktop
1 project | reddit.com/r/MacOS | 8 Jan 2022
Can't say anything about Screens 4, but maybe RustDesk is worth a look? Have used it a handful of times recently and seemed to be fine. Especially the host your own server part makes it pretty attractive IMHO.

is there any opensource "remote assistance" project ?

I recommend RustDesk, if you're looking for basic support. Its also built on Rust, as the name says.

I've recently moved to RustDesk. Not sure if it will meet your needs but may be worth checking out.
Did you still contribute to a project if your pull request wasn't merged?
1 project | reddit.com/r/opensource | 8 Oct 2021
Sometimes, the PR is not merged due to some conflicts which are hard to be solved. For example, this one https://github.com/rustdesk/rustdesk/pull/240 in my repo. The contributor has done great job, but the contributor insists overwriting old feature, I insist creating a new feature without affecting default behavior. Although the PR is not merged, but the effort is not wasted, the other developers still can use it. I also find many solutions from unmerged PRs in the other repos.
Choose game engine for native and wasm game

I want to recode the GUI. I would like to make this new version web browser compatible with wasm. Another important point is I need an advanced ui crate like egui to make complex windows with text, button, sliders, etc.
A 2D Pixel Physics Simulator with Cellular Automata written in Rust

I use the awesome Vulkano for rendering and computation, and Rapier for simple physics. Contour is used for the initial shapes, but rapier forms the physics colliders from it. Hecs is used as well. And you might recognize Egui as gui :). I gotta say, I'm starting to be pretty happy with the rust ecosystem overall.

For a GUI, you might consider egui which has an integration for bevy.
How do I develop a Linux app?

Alternatively I propose to you this: egui a rust UI Toolkit which also works in the web browser, so your users can use the application system independent in the Web Browser.
Announcing egui 0.16
3 projects | reddit.com/r/rust | 29 Dec 2021
An interesting idea I've seen mentioned in github discussions is to cache bounding boxes for widgets that respond to hover events. Add to that an ability to do partial redraw for animations and egui should be efficient enough for normal GUI's.3 projects | reddit.com/r/rust | 29 Dec 2021
egui is an easy-to-use immediate mode GUI in pure Rust.

The answer to "areweguiyet" is still mostly "no", but you can try egui.

Is Rust good for writing a web extension where performance is the priority?
2 projects | reddit.com/r/rust | 1 Dec 2021
One exception is egui which uses wasm/webgl rendering so it largely bypasses most/all traditional html/css/js interactions.
