Best way to manipulate files inside neovim?
You can ranger inside of Neovim with this plugin rnvimr. Check it out. Neo-tree is another plugin that I like as a file manager. And also mini.files is another option if you prefer a more minimal approach and the ability to manipulate files like you edit a normal Neovim buffer. I'm pretty sure there are other great options out there as well, these are just my personal preferences.

main file explorer plugin replacement?
https://github.com/kevinhwang91/rnvimr is pretty good, it opens ranger in a floating terminal and takes care of file renaming and deletion, etc.
-
What plugins do you use to manage work across multiple files?
Ranger inside Neovim for when I need it
- what is this plugiin?

[Plugin] ranger.nvim
This plugin is unique from the other alternatives such as ranger.vim and rnvimr in that my plugin has no dependencies besides ‘ranger’ and written in 100% lua.
-
Which file explorer do you use?
chadtree for dealing with files in the current project & Rnvimr (which basically integrates Ranger) when I want to work with files all over the disk.
-
VSCode like file preview in neovim?
Although Ranger is a terminal application, you can use it in neovim via some plugins like rnvimr.
-
Am I missing something with "move file" in neotree?
If you don't mind switch to another plugin I highly recommend rnvimr to use ranger, a real-world, feature-complete file amanger perfecrly integrated in nvim.

New(ish) plugin: ts-vimdoc.nvim, generate vimdoc from your README.md for your plugin using tree-sitter
If someone wants similar functionality and they are okay with depending on pandoc instead, I have this repo that make be of relevance: https://github.com/kdheepak/panvimdoc. It also works as a github action, so you can add to a .github/workflows/docs.yml file and forget.

Does documentation belong in the README?
If you're using panvimdoc you can put and comments to exclude parts from the generated vimdoc. See my plugin's README.md
- [vent] I really hate that most neovim plugins don't provide docs...
