G14ControlV2 Updates!
Is the riot vanguard software running? If it is, it stops my app from being able to see smu values.. Probably also any other type of anti-cheat software. My app needs permission to read protected memory space to in order to query those values. It's similar to a game hack, but completely innocent. HWINFO does the same thing, and those values (stapm limit, tdc limit, etc) go blank with the software running as well. Just to let y'all know. Reinstall Armoury Crate and you'll get the temps on home screen back plus no more User Session cpu hogging bug!
I've been using this one for a year, it seems to be more complete than the other one from the repository (I'm not sure tho). I guess a quick check to see if it works is to test the different features you're interested in. You should consider that if you have both g14control and armoury crate installed at the same time they might clash and g14control might not give 100% expected results...

Figured out a way to enable G14Control CPU tuning on 2021 Models
I first installed the latest release of the G14Control app. make sure that the application is not running for the following steps.

Should i uninstall armoury crate?
Yes, replace it with https://github.com/aredden/electron-G14Control/releases that software allows all the customizations that armorycrate gives and more, but it does not work on all asus laptops, so just give it a go it worked on my asus scar strix 2021 g533qs

any good way I can lower the cpu temp on my ASUS tuf a15 while gaming? Will I need to do new thermal paste or anything that involves taking apart the laptop?

What are some alternatives?
