Just to let y'all know. Reinstall Armoury Crate and you'll get the temps on home screen back plus no more User Session cpu hogging bug!
I've been using this one for a year, it seems to be more complete than the other one from the repository (I'm not sure tho). I guess a quick check to see if it works is to test the different features you're interested in. You should consider that if you have both g14control and armoury crate installed at the same time they might clash and g14control might not give 100% expected results...

Figured out a way to enable G14Control CPU tuning on 2021 Models
I first installed the latest release of the G14Control app. make sure that the application is not running for the following steps.

Should i uninstall armoury crate?
Yes, replace it with https://github.com/aredden/electron-G14Control/releases that software allows all the customizations that armorycrate gives and more, but it does not work on all asus laptops, so just give it a go it worked on my asus scar strix 2021 g533qs

any good way I can lower the cpu temp on my ASUS tuf a15 while gaming? Will I need to do new thermal paste or anything that involves taking apart the laptop?

The day before I used this debloating guide so maybe I messed something up there, but not sure if that's the case or what and how exactly to roll back to make F keys work as intended again.

I followed this guide. There is a .bat file on that page, so make sure you download that and run it.

varibright was already disabled, thanks for the reply though. I did the reinstall of windows again and uninstalled myasus and armory crate immediately and everything looks good for now, but I'm terrified something else unexpected will come up and change the display settings again. Are there automatic ASUS updates I need to disable? I'm trying to look in the task scheduler according to the github but I don't see them.

Does this look about right? Battery discharge on normal chrome tabs + a video streaming. What is typical battery life to expect on this kind of workload?
