Chrome OS Adventure Installing firefox
And even better Android is a Linux too, and can run inside containers(*like separate operating systems from the same families sharing the same kernel) in every Linux distros you could find, for example Chrome OS' Android container, Anbox, Waydroid, Redroid benefits from that.

Trying to understand what Chrome OS/Crostini really is and getting a clear hierarchical diagram in my head..
4- Android is a Linux distribution, basically same kernel can run both GNU userland of Chrome OS and Bionic Libc/ART userland of Android, without needing much resources, this is called containerization. It is nothing new, any regular GNU/Linux distro can run Android containers, Redroid for example.

Google's Pixel 8 series gets USB-C to DisplayPort; desktop mode rumors heat up
This feature is also a lifesaver when your phone screen breaks! A mishap on the bus led to this happening with my old OnePlus phone, and with a USB C to HDMI adapter I was able to navigate around and salvage anything I needed from that device. I actually assumed this was the standard, so when the same thing eventually happened to the Pixel 6 Pro I got after that, I was distraught to learn that Pixels didn't support video-out at all. I ended up managing to get TalkBack (audio assistance for the visually impaired) turned on, use that plus screenshots I referenced online to get USB debugging enabled and authorize my computer, and then use scrcpy [0] to control my phone from my laptop.

Running adb in a rootless Podman Distrobox container
For Linux users, they might want to use adb with scrcpy (https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy), which is a very powerful tool for controlling Android devices from PC. Installing scrcpy from the distro's repo would bring in adb by default, so it's not necessary to download adb directly from Google.
