    For rav1e, I'd recommend settings --tiles 4 and --threads 8. That should help it thread go a lot faster. You could also try the --low-latency toggle, but that makes it less efficient. Otherwise, you could try your hand at rav1e-by-gop: https://github.com/rust-av/rav1e-by-gop. It works pretty well.

    This should overall provide a nice speedup, but if you want even better threading, you could look at rav1e-by-gop, a tool specifically made to thread rav1e over multiple chunks: https://github.com/rust-av/rav1e-by-gop
