How do I remove these old servers on iOS?
You can create libraries for any category you like, and have them point to media in different directories. I separate 4K from 1080p to avoid other users using loads of bandwidth or CPU transcoding. You’ll need different instances of the arrs to achieve this. You can also use services like https://github.com/adamgot/python-plexlibrary to create custom libraries based on lists, which’s was popular about 1 year ago but https://github.com/meisnate12/Plex-Meta-Manager has come along way and made library customisation more integrative. Hope that helps. :)

i want to make a smart playlist of all my pilot episodes of shows. anyone know how i could do that easily?
I did some searching around because I joined the Plex Meta Manager Project Discord and my first idea was that maybe this could create playlists according to a configuration, which it currently cannot. But searching around the discord and I found this project which states:

Homepage recommendations - multiple libraries issue
It is a dynamic library that I created it ages ago using https://github.com/adamgot/python-plexlibrary. It's been good, however https://github.com/meisnate12/Plex-Meta-Manager/ is going to make the whole experience a lot better once they sort Smart Collections out. Just wish I could sort this issue out. It's very strange. Thanks for your help and ideas :)

Front End UI
I use https://github.com/adamgot/python-plexlibrary to manage my dynamic libraries which I can now feed into my homepage UI. EG: ‘Top Rated TV’ is referenced to my IMDB Top 250 library, and ‘Top Unplayed Movies’ to my ‘1001 Movies to watch before you die’ library, and ‘recently released movies’ to my movies trending library. It helps to make homepage recommendations more targeted and within my control... but you need more than 3 libraries to do it unfortunately, which w lot of folk don’t like, understandably.
- Now that our server is so large, it's getting harder to find movies to watch. Is there a way to have a more robust “Recommended” page? Or another solution?

FlixPatrol has gone premium, any alternative for PlexMetaManager?
Digging into it more and more I discovered the FlixPatrol option to get the tops from the mainstream providers, and I know for sure this would be much appreciated among my users, as well as myself to be honest. I got very hyped by it, only to discover that due to a recent change of policy from FlixPatrol, support for it is being dropped.

Convenient way to enter a lot (100s of episodes) of TV metadata?

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirates life for me!! Recent streaming services, prices and shows getting butchered, finally decided its time. Here's how a basic self-hosted 'Netflix' would look like. Fully automated once its setup. Using only a makeshift homelab server from second hand parts.

Metadata question - what happens when you modify file locations or upgrade movie to a higher quality version?
You then want to make a single movie library that uses the /Movies path. That way when movies are "upgraded" you don't have to have that new library download new metadata. Plex natively doesn't have auto collection creation but you can use something like Plex Meta Manager. I'd try to figure it out using their wiki but if you can't or need help they seem to have a discord. Just quickly looking you can make collections by resolution so I assume there is some way to base it on audio type.

Best programs to use alongside Plex?
Plex Meta Manager (GitHub) for some automated library organization. This one has been a long process. It's a steep learning curve when you're first starting out, but my suggestion is to pick ONE feature and start there. That is, "I want a collection of the IMDb Top 250 Movies" and learn how to implement that, then move on to another feature you want to add. Currently, I have overlays for streaming services, audio quality, and video quality, plus collections for IMDb, award winners, filmmakers, actors, and production companies.
