poe-filter VS RePoE

This, along with other issues with his pricing algorithm are really crippling the tool I built to generate loot filters with the settings I wanted, and also incorporating poe.ninja pricing.

If you don't want to install Python to run the program you can still help me test the filters. I've generated a number of them with the tool and uploaded them to the main directory for the tool: https://github.com/flapanther33781/poe-filter. The legend for understanding the file names is in the FAQ/Readme, just scroll to the bottom of the main Github page. I also put two there that use Standard pricing.

I built a tool to auto-generate loot filters, and initially hard set the file names to start with 3.15-. I'd rather have that than the full name of the league (for a few reasons). The number's going to change over time, so I'd like to make it a variable that can update itself so I don't have to manually change it each league.

Hey everyone. I'd shared this over in the PoE Devs forum looking for help testing but saw /u/impending_dave's post from yesterday so I thought I'd throw down over here as well. You can see pics, video, and more info over at the Discord page. but a quick summary...

I haven't done stack sizes yet, but I've built something similar (minus the voice): Fla_Panther's Super Simple Loot Filter.

I think the only reason I'm even playing now is because I wrote a tool to download pricing from poe.ninja and generate loot filters off that data. It's not meant to replace FilterBlade or some other filters, but has certain goals in mind that FB and other filter builders have told me they either aren't interested in doing or cannot do easily ... but (a) I have programming experience and didn't see why it couldn't be done, and (b) I'm using it as an excuse to learn Python, and adding another language to my skillset could result in a better-paying job in real life - so I at least have some possible financial benefit out of this, and don't feel like I'm completely wasting my life learning the ins and outs of some arcane system with no payoff other than what my father would call "mental masturbation".

Does anybody know how to retrieve fresh data from poe? I've found RePoE project . And stacked it on use 'python run_parser.py all' command. That's because PyPoE can't find Stats.dat file. I don't see it in Path of Exile directory.

Where do get the probabilities from? CraftOfExile give a resource for that: https://www.craftofexile.com/about --> https://github.com/brather1ng/RePoE I don't know if this is complete and I bet there are mistakes in their data mining + there are cases for crafting which are not in the dataset. I am also wondering why craftofexile has a simulation tool, if probabilities are known... yeah sounds quite useless to me ...

I'm curious why you needed this. do the files in stat_translations/ of https://github.com/brather1ng/RePoE/tree/master/RePoE/data not cover this?

https://github.com/xanthics/xan_filter/blob/master/gen_ninja_mod_lookup.py has what you are looking for. I parse https://github.com/brather1ng/RePoE to generate the list.

PoEDB has numbers only up to lv84, RePoE default_monster_stats (https://github.com/brather1ng/RePoE/blob/master/RePoE/data/default_monster_stats.json) has numbers up to lv99.

Get the datamined "base life" for level 95 monsters from here.

Monster base life at 84 is 16265 (based on this datamined json)

This repository may have the data you need, but I wouldn't be able to help with how you parse it, nor do I know if it's better for your use case

1) A small SQLite database is generated containing all currently supported items & mod details. This information comes from the wonderful RePoE project, so a massive "Thank You" to that project. The SQLite database is included in the ZIP file release available on GitHub. Alternatively you can generate it yourself by running the "PoeStashSearch.Console" project which also requires that you have the relevant RePoE files available locally.
