Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Daily Chat Thread - January 03, 2023
One time I got curious about computer graphics so I learned some OpenGL and made this as an exercise; another time I became curious about how Go and JavaScript dealt with concurrency so I did a deep dive into asynchronous runtimes; another time I became curious about cryptography so I made a basic blowfish encryptor/decryptor app that absolutely no one should use; and presently I'm interested in compiler development which means I'm currently learning some x86 assembly and plan to learn LLVM.
- I drew a couple of cool 3D shapes in the browser while experimenting with Rust + WASM, with a very basic React/TS UI

Drew a torus in the browser using Rust + WASM
Much obliged /u/IceSentry https://github.com/solidiquis/parametric_surfaces/commit/84bc6cce6bd6de3037d3b574b2b89288ea76101d

My 3d render has weird lighting artifacts
If you look closely at the second image, it has some weird triangle artifacts with the lighting. The first one i rendered in blender, the second one i used this rust 3d rendering library. Any help would be appreciated, this is my first time working with 3d rendering.

Crate to render a 3d model to an image
I just implemented a gltf headless renderer using https://github.com/asny/three-d, it's simple and clear.

Heightmap generator using egui and three_d
I've made a simple multi-threaded heightmap generator using egui and three_d. Both have been really easy to use despite a few limitations.

Please suggest high quality render library
Theirs also https://github.com/asny/three-d or https://github.com/not-fl3/miniquad. Or lower level ones like WGPU or GLOW.
- Is there an easy wrapper for wgpu?

Rendering 3D models in browser with wasm?
I think that three-d fits your requirements, you should check it!
