Basic MDM requirements but Moysle is unsuable
Some of my machines are shared (like a lab environment) and I use outset to run a script on every login that resets the dock to the expected state. There are conditionals in there that check to see if the app is installed before trying to place the icon on the dock, so you don't end up with the ? icon.
- Is Outset still compatible with MacOS 12.3+?
-
Customized Dock For Labs
Another option is to have Dockmaster create a package instead of a profile and install it at each user's first login with Outset. This gives the user the flexibility to modify the dock.
-
Prevent user account from changing Icons picture
If it's templates in a shared folder, just reinstall the whole thing nightly (or after each user) with MDM or use outset to reinstall it locally at login.

Can you recommend an RMM solution that handles user profile settings?
Anything that isn't able to be achieved via config profiles, will need to scripted (see Outset https://github.com/chilcote/outset which is super useful for this). Take a look at https://macadmins.software/tools/ 'MailToOutlook 2.0') for your default email item.

Script to check if the user is logged in after enrollment
Possibly outset can be of service?
-
macOS equivalent of c:\Users\Public\Desktop?
There is no equivalent on macos, but you could install your shared files somewhere like /opt/company/shared and use outset to copy them into each users home the next time they log in.

Running `connect_get_namespaced_pod_exec` using kubernetes client corev1api gives bad request
I have checked the python version == 2.7 and pip freeze - ipaddress==1.0.22, urllib3==1.24.1 and websocket-client==0.54.0 are the versions which satisfy the requirement - as mentioned here: https://github.com/kubernetes-client/python/blob/master/README.md#hostname-doesnt-matchfollowed the issue on this thread - https://github.com/kubernetes-client/python/issues/36 - not much help.

How to use the kubernetes-client for executing "kubectl apply"
kubectl apply -f class.yamlkubectl apply -f rbac.yamlkubectl apply -f deployment-arm.yaml I want to use the kubernetes-client written in python to replace it. My current code, loads the there yaml files (using pyyaml), edits them a bit, inserts into a file and use the command line kubectl to execute those three commands. Some of the code:

Tell HN: Amusing Substitutions for Class Keyword

and in Apache ecosystem it's called clazz:
