Would you buy an AMD/Intel board with coreboot?
Libreboot would actually be a backwards approach if anything, oreboot looks to be the direction that people are heading in as you can see in the notes it's intended to be used with no binary blobs.

X220 seemingly bricked after flashing Coreboot with Computrace
I have a X220 that previously had Computrace active on it. I externally flashed Coreboot on it with this ROM (VGA supported one) in an attempt to get around Computrace.
