Any working Optifine to Chime converters?
I've switched to Fabric a few weeks ago, and with that I installed Sodium. That of course made installing Optifine impossible. Even though I had found replacement mods for most Optifine features, there's still one thing that I haven't worked out - converting Optifine packs into Chime ones. I've seen Optichime, but every time I try to use it, I get a different type of error. Does anyone know any good alternatives for Optichime or can make a tutorial on it?

Optifine to Chime
I want to port this resource pack to Chime, since it requires Optifine to change textures based on NBT. But, there's a mod called Chime that does the same thing, except the format is different and so I have to change the texture pack or change Optifine/Chime, which I don't particularly want to do. And yes, I saw this, But I don't have Rust installed. Is there a way that I can allow FurfSky Reborn to work with Chime or modify Optifine? I already asked about this on Hypixel Forums but turns out nobody cares.

Is there a mod that automatically converts the Optifine CIT format to the Chime format?
I heard of it before, but i'm not the best at using that kind of applications (scripts?). So if there is a application for me i would like to hear about it. And I would like a tutorial on Optichime, if there is a good tutorial out there i would apreciate it alot if I got a link to it.

Looking for FPS increaser mods for 1.16.5
For now, you’d probably have to do this process manually. I’m working on a converter myself, but it’s still pretty early and probably won’t work for an entire skyblock pack yet.

After a quick search I found this mod called Fabric Capes, which might be what they're talking about

What are your thoughts now that iris is almost done catching up?
You can install Kappa or Fabric Capes alongside sodium/iris for optifine capes
-
I mean, Optifine is still good for custom texture packs at least
You can replace all of Optifine's features with the right Fabric mods, like Continuity, CEM, Animatica, FabricCapes, and Iris. I don't know all the features Optifine has, but every important feature Optifine has that I can think of has a Fabric mod counterpart.

Guys I need to write a mod that will show optifine capes without optifine🙏

Whenever Im in a 10 block radius of my mob farm my FPS frop like crazy. Im using optifine, and this is after I killed about half of my animals. Are there any mods that can fix this? Help would be appreciated.
you can get to see your capes in fabric, just add this mod https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/capes :)

What are some alternatives?
When comparing optichime and Capes you can also consider the following projects:
MCPatcherPatcher - A resource pack patcher to abandon the old MCPatcher format in favor of newer formats.
Iris - A modern shaders mod for Minecraft compatible with existing OptiFine shader packs
