I mean, Optifine is still good for custom texture packs at least

Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Access the most powerful time series database as a service
  • Sonar - Write Clean Python Code. Always.
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • Capes

Lets you use capes from OptiFine, LabyMod and other cape mods

You can replace all of Optifine's features with the right Fabric mods, like Continuity, CEM, Animatica, FabricCapes, and Iris. I don't know all the features Optifine has, but every important feature Optifine has that I can think of has a Fabric mod counterpart.

  • fabulously-optimized

A Fabric-based Minecraft modpack focusing on performance and graphics enhancements.

You should absolutely try out the Fabulously Optimized Modpack, and if you don't want to use a modpack you can always just choose from the list of mods included. For me, it got far better FPS than Optifine on both computers I tried it on, though it does obviously depend on your computer.

  • InfluxDB

Access the most powerful time series database as a service. Ingest, store, & analyze all types of time series data in a fully-managed, purpose-built database. Keep data forever with low-cost storage and superior data compression.
