media-scripts VS ffsubsync

It is possible to largely avoid this problem of having to sync subtitles when you go to watch something by using software that can automatically find the offset. Not necessarily indicative of foul play. I have two projects like this (https://github.com/smacke/ffsubsync and https://github.com/ipyflow/ipyflow) and I attribute it to not having great developer documentation.

You can check and repair them with https://github.com/smacke/ffsubsync which is ideal for subs that are off because of an edited/cut/added intro or commercials

Yes if you use subsync by itself it emits a pre-synced SRT file. https://github.com/smacke/ffsubsync
