    I use ffsubsync to sync subtitles downloaded by Bazarr because i had problems with radar syncronization, Another option is SubSync, this is more resource intensive and takes more time, IMO the results are better with ffsubsync.

    You might already know, but you can download most Jdramas on nyaa. Jpsubbers has subs for a lot of them too, but you will likely have to sync (retime). I have had success with FFsubsync, which automatically tries to sync subtitles to a target video. If you have he knowhow then you can set up a Plex or Jellyfin for home streaming.
