Is Mechvibes safe to use ?
I do not know if it the right place to ask this but i have actually browsed the other subreddits and this seems to be the most appropriate one. The title explains it, I do not really posses any programming knowledge other than the one time i have taken a python course. This program seems pretty cool and it is open source, I wonder if it is safe to use though ? I usually stop these kind of programs from accessing the internet since they do not need it but still want to be sure about it, do anyone know if it is safe or can check if it is safe ? Here is the link for the project: https://github.com/hainguyents13/mechvibes Thank you in advance.

Mechvibes - potential threat?
What do you think about applications like Mechvibe (https://mechvibes.com/) in security terms? Someone using it or you completely aware of apps like this according to security reasons?

potential community plug in idea: keyboard asmr
You don't really need a plugin specifically for this. You can use this software to do the job.

I made an app that plays clicking sounds when you click your mouse
I've been using it all the time when coding or browsing the internet.(you should check Mechvibes out if you like keyboards too). But it started getting boring and I wanted an app that played clicking sounds too. So I made one. I called it clicket. It's made using the ElectronJS framework with React.

AHK Typewriter - A fun script that causes your typing to emulate the sounds of an early 1900s Remington Model 10 typewriter. I really enjoyed making this.
For anyone that wants a version of this that actually works download mechvibes .exe

macOS Ventura is now available
++2 for Alfred. AND it has plugins so you can search your Chrome or Brave tabs with Alfred as well. I just hit CMD + Shift + T and it'll search all my open tabs without the browser being in focus. I had to pay but it wasn't much. Use it everyday! https://github.com/epilande/alfred-browser-tabs

Looking for the best Command-Tab switcher (Contexts VS Witch)
I've recently been testing out some command-tab app switchers to see which works best, and have really enjoyed Contexts and Witch. I like the feel of Contexts more (it feels native), but Witch has the ability to view, search, and switch directly to any tab in any window. For instance, I can open a specific tab of Safari using Witch whereas with Contexts I need to first open the Safari window that holds the tab, and then manually switch to that tab from there. This problem can be somewhat overcome using the Browser Tabs Alfred workflow, but I still prefer having both tabs and windows both visible from within a command-tab app switcher.

Similar app to Tab Finder on Setapp?
A lot of the functionality of this is exposed through Applescript. There's an alfred workflow here that utilizes it: https://github.com/epilande/alfred-browser-tabs
