Have you looked into .NET MAUI yet? I'm cautiously optimistic, but haven't dug into it. Should be releasing Q2 this year.
How can I make .net C# Windows Forms Applications look just like the UI they run in Windows11 in the Editor itself? Isn't it time to upgrade from Windows 7 yet?

Microsoft also has MAUI, which is "cross-platform" where "cross-platform" is defined to mean " Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows". Specifically, there is no support for Linux.
A new Maui Report is out. Some of the highlights include the dark mode toggle option for Android, styling cleanups, and UX interaction animations. [link in the comments]

You could try updating your current project, but I wouldn't put to much time into it if you run into bugs, there seem to be a lot of unfinished things in the more complex controls. I guess migrations between versions will be the smallest problem, you can find guides in their wiki https://github.com/dotnet/maui/wiki

A quick search for ".NET cross-platform GUI" suggests Avalonia and Uno. For C++ there are Qt and wxWidgets and more. Some more for other languages, like GTK and the native Java ones. I'll just leave a link to Wikipedia.
