Do YOUR games work on Linux? (Please include games you would play if they did)
It's been a while but I remember that all the work was at the beginning. I installed a bunch of dependencies and from then on it was just download, launch the script and play. Here's the guide, just click on your distro family https://github.com/jc141x/jc141-bash/tree/master/setup

Can anyone teach me how to add mods for Total War Warhammer 3 (johncena141)
I figured it out... Extracted the game again, this time I switched to Pop_OS (idk if that changed anything, I tried Ubuntu before) and asked for help on the johncena141 "matrix". It's working now, besides following the tutorial from here, I also executed these three commands as instructed:

The "linuxrulez" release of Warhammer 3 did not worked on Ubuntu LTS, I have no idea why
To my surprise, the tutorial page of johncena141 (can I post a link here? The moderators of this sub are on my ass in the last days), https://github.com/jc141x/jc141-bash/tree/master/setup , now they included Ubuntu on their list, literally 4 days ago they were calling Ubuntu a "malware", lol Anyway, there's a couple of recommended terminal commands that installs a bunch of stuff, maybe that's the answer. I will try Mint now, idk if it will change anything, but why the hell not. By the way, do you people recommend any version of Linux that is more oriented towards games? I did a search and found a OS named "Drauger OS", but it looked too complicated for a novice such a myself. I just want the bare minimum to run games, but maybe with time I will learn how to mess up with Linux, the whole "power user" stuff is pretty cool on Android, I can only assume PC goes some levels beyond

Failed to install the "linuxrulez" release of Total War Warhammer 3 on Ubuntu LTS
I did installed Total War Three Kingdoms on the Endeavor OS after following these tutorials: https://github.com/jc141x/jc141-bash/blob/master/setup/arch.md, downloaded the "johncena141" torrent on 1377x, but the graphics looked weird, washed colors, the smoke effects were all over the place, etc And the game launcher did pointed out the distro was not compatible, Ubuntu is supposed to be the one, etc... That's why I tried "linuxrulez" on Ubuntu, but with no success either way

What kind of applications are missing from the Linux ecosystem?
this was my personal 'want' from deadbeef that felt a little awkward https://github.com/DeaDBeeF-Player/deadbeef/issues/2365 (recently added and recently played playlists). it may be doable with plugins or some shell scripting perhaps

Playing Hi-Res audio in Steam Deck
I know not everyone is into this hobby. However, if you want to play dsf files, this article covers lots of Linux Players (and devices that use Linux). MPD (Media Player Daemon) seems to be a popular option for most of the devices and distributions mentioned in the article. However, if you want to try a player that does not require you to install various packages with root access, Deadbeef seems to work properly.

When switching to Linux, what were some programs that you had to stop using because they weren't supported on Linux?
Deadbeef, maybe? This one is the most similar to foobar2k from what I tried (yeah I miss it too).

Suggestions for a FLAC audio player giving spectrograms on Linux playing well with LDAC headphones?
Deadbeef is the most feature rich player on Linux that doesn't look like an eyesore, imo.

Nah. They were removed and are no longer found in the repository's locale directory.

There seems to be no Linux music player that supports reading and writing to the POPM rating tag, and making smart playlists based on both those ratings and other playlists. Or, "I really freaking miss MusicBee, man"
DeadBeef - Only possible with a plugin that is not obvious to a new user and easily misable
