As per the source OP referenced (source) 15,175 (75.9%) showed up on New Years eve. As per the same source (link) we've been steadily averaging about 300 to 500 a day with the exception of Christmas to Boxing Day and New Years day through Sunday. On New Years Eve, before the last shipment, we were sitting around 71%.

Logistics of requiring negative tests - advice ?
I don’t have experiences with how to implement testing, but this tool from Georgia Tech (from the pinned COVID thread) might help your parents understand the importance of testing. With the current surge in cases right now it says any event with >20 people has like a 90%+ chance of having at least one person with COVID, haha, it may be a lot better in a few months though.
