The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Has anyone had any luck setting up a playbook to register a new RHEL box to an on-prem RHSM satellite?
See this example role from the Redhat-COP projects. With this role, the only difference is that you specify the URL of your satellite instance instead of access.redhat.com.

Make your own playbooks/roles or use existing roles (from Ansible Galaxy etc...) ?
9/10 times I will end up writing my own roles, though I will sometimes look at Galaxy roles for inspiration if I need ideas. For infrastructure-type code, the Redhat-COP repository is useful to browse through. This is part of the Redhat Communities of Practice, which has a lot of useful proof-of-concept stuff.

Infisical: Open source SecretOps platform for developers
yes, it has a server component which holds the encrypted data (zero knowledge) and you can access the credentials from mobile, Desktop (browser plugin) after entering the masterpassword. This way you can share credentials in your Organisation without syncing password files (which could have conflicting changes). In case you like ansible: i have co-authored a role for it: https://github.com/selfhostx/ansible/tree/main/roles/vaultwarden

Security questions and Zabbix security options
i would say more than two. I mean its Ok to do stuff manually to learn how to do it, but it gets boring very fast (and you always forget little things). I started to configure my systems with my baserole some time ago ( https://github.com/selfhostx/ansible/tree/main/roles/baserole ) and than any application (someone asked me to do) too. Nowadays i just ask for the variables (like hostname) and thats it. It adds up in the long run especially If you work as a admin anyway. Ansible semaphore is a nice Gui for it too, so i can delegate things to others.

hetzner-k3s v.1.1.2 is out with support for the new , powerful but cheap ARM instances! š
If hetzner would pick this up, that would be terrific. I am trying to evolve a ansible collection of opensource-apps to be deployed on pure cloud-instances ( https://github.com/selfhostx/ansible ), doing the same on k3s would be nice. Or convert your scripts into ansible š

Have any of you turned your selfhost skill into a side hustle?
i am focussed on infrastructure for building private clouds, so basically this is my roadmap: https://github.com/selfhostx/ansible/blob/main/ROADMAP.md (a collection of ansible roles i use for maintaining systems including provisioning on proxmox and a baserole to configure systems before the app).
What are some alternatives?
When comparing infra-ansible and ansible you can also consider the following projects:
foreman-ansible-modules - Ansible modules for interacting with the Foreman API and various plugin APIs such as Katello
hetzner-k3s - The easiest and quickest way to create and manage Kubernetes clusters in Hetzner Cloud using the lightweight distribution k3s by Rancher.
openshift-management - Set of maintenance scripts & cron jobs for OpenShift Container Platform
fluxd - Flux Daemon
