- Flight controllers to interface with raspberry pi
- Hi, I lost video a few times with my custom drone running betaflight, this resulted in crashes which harmed the drone, is there any way to know with betaflight when the signal is going to cut out?
- Ok take 2
- Has anyone programmed a drone?
- I’m making a raspberry pi drone, what flight controller can I get for under $125?

Crashed my pretty Ar Wing Pro due to... I don't know, Fc, GPS failure? Interference? Super weird
https://github.com/iNavFlight/inav/blob/master/docs/Failsafe.md Looks like something wrong with your failsafes

ELRS Flying Wing
iNav is not hours of setup. Heck, if you are experienced with BF then it's barely an hour. Look at this guide. It is not 300 pages long. Basic setup you only need to do once (always save your CLI DIFF after setup in case you need to go back). One flight to run autotune. Then you are done.

Easiest flight controller to add to Phoenix 2400?
https://github.com/iNavFlight/inav/wiki/Supported-boards (I feel like iNav can be installed on a lot more than those 5 mentioned on this page)

Using ELRS Happy Model ES24TX-Lite with X-Lite/ Pro
For those willing to semi DIY it (which most in this hobby are), here's my solution to getting X-Lite to accept HappyModel ES24TX-Lite. I 3d printed this case (https://github.com/ExpressLRS/ExpressLRS-Hardware/tree/master/PCB/2400MHz/TX_SX1280_Slimmer) You'll need to do a little modification after this is printed. You'll need to cut/break off the 2 post of the screws near the top of the module, this helps the module sit lower in the case. You'll also need to break off the back where the module pins will be. (attached image on google drive of what needs to be removed)https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P-rI2zjyh-zfX8_nWS-tvJQJicM86ICw/view?usp=sharing
- crossfire and ghost too
What are some alternatives?
ardupilot - ArduPlane, ArduCopter, ArduRover, ArduSub source
EmuFlight - EmuFlight is flight controller software (firmware) used to fly multi-rotor craft.
PX4-Autopilot - PX4 Autopilot Software
esp-drone - Mini Drone/Quadcopter Firmware for ESP32 and ESP32-S Series SoCs.
betaflight - Open Source Flight Controller Firmware
DroneBridge - DroneBridge is a system based on the WifiBroadcast approach. A bidirectional digital radio link between two endpoints is established using standard WiFi hardware and a custom protocol. DroneBridge is optimized for use in UAV applications and is a complete system. It is intended be a real alternative to other similar systems, such as DJI Lightbridge or OcuSync.
cleanflight - Clean-code version of the baseflight flight controller firmware
GUN4IR - The best Lightun system you can do by yourself
ExpressLRS - STM32/ESP32/ESP8285-based High-Performance Radio Link for RC applications
Rc_Engine_Sound_ESP32 - Allows to play vehicle engine sounds on an ESP32. Additional sounds can play in parallel with the engine sound! Controls your lights as well. compatible with SBUS, IBUS, PWM, PPM and SUMD signals.
QUICKSILVER - Flight Controller Firmware
