Problem loading simple Python script under Hexchat 2.16.1 on Windows 10
This is a bug specific to Python 2 that was already reported on Hexchat's bugtracker and there is a fix that will be part of the next release.

DPReview.com is shutting down
First off, grab yourself an IRC client. On their connection info page Hackint has information for both WeeChat and Hexchat, but you could use any IRC client.

IRC Chat?
Gajim is for XMPP. For IRC you need Hexchat or Weechat or something like that.

Online in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s.
IRC - Also still around and in some cases, the same as it ever was, albeit with a smaller user base. A list of networks can be found here, and while there are many actively developed IRC clients out there, if you don't know where to start, most people recommend HexChat. Reddit's affiliated network is called Snoonet. mIRC is still actively developed by Khaled Mardam-Bey, so by all means, feel free to give that a shot if you are so inclined.

OnlyOffice kills Nextcloud partnership for forking its project without approval
OnlyOffice didn't distribute under a pure AGPLv3 license. They made modifications to it.
On line 655 here: https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/DocumentServer/blob/master/LIC...
> Pursuant to Section 7(b) of the License you must retain the original Product logo when distributing the program. Pursuant to Section 7(e) we decline to grant you any rights under trademark law for use of our trademarks.
And on line 17 here: https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/DesktopEditors/blob/master/LIC...
> Pursuant to Section 7 § 3(b) of the GNU AGPL you must retain the original ONLYOFFICE logo in the upper left corner of the user interface when distributing the software.

Danish Gov agency to ditch Microsoft software in push for digital independence
I do like this news, but I wonder why they choose LibreOffice. It's the most widely know one, but things like OnlyOffice [0] and Nextcloud Office [1] (which is based on Collabora Online [2], which in turn is based on LibreOffice) offer much more compelling collaborative features, imho. Just plain office (like it's 1997) is quite a step back, no?

The New Collabora Office for Desktop
I have super light office requirements these days and those are satisfied with OnlyOffice (https://www.onlyoffice.com/). I do believe it's an Electron app but works quite fast in my personal experience. (Probably faster than LibreOffice if it's still like the last time I used it).
It's open source: https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/

Goodbye, Microsoft: Schleswig-Holstein Relies on Open Source and Saves Millions
I find Onlyoffice to be the closest alternative. It presents itself as a hosted office platform but you can actually install it locally and it feels just like an office program.
It's not the most efficient, being effectively a webview. But its UI and compatibility is imho much better than LibreOffice.

Danish Ministry Replaces Windows and Microsoft Office with Linux and LibreOffice
Check https://www.onlyoffice.com/ honestly it's pretty good, open source, multiplatform and it opens everything I've thrown at it so far.
I like libre in general but one too many times it just didn't play ball with some random docx documents.

LibreOffice still kicking at 40, now with browser tricks and real-time collab
There's also onlyoffice [1] which recently got a little more traction due to its integrations for moodle, owncloud, nextcloud etc. I think all of their software is AGPL3 licensed last time I checked.
