google docs has weird spacing between letters?
reddit.com/r/firefox | 2021-10-06
Unfortunately I don't have a solution for you. But I suggest try copying and pasting a doc or two into OnlyOffice and see if you get the weird spacing. It's known Google intentionally makes some stuff not work in FF but they make everything work perfectly in chromium browsers. After experiencing this myself I stopped using Google products if they choose to not make their products work across all browsers.

What's the best way to view and search docx files without Microsoft Word on Mac? (Please not Pages)
reddit.com/r/macapps | 2021-09-15
Any other office package. ONLYOFFICE is free. SoftMaker Office is better and free. LibreOffice. All Online Office versions, like Google Docs. Heck, you can even install Microsoft Office, as it will allow reading files, even if not changing them.
Fellow voyagers, have you ever deleted pirated premium software to use a free open-source alternative?

Check out Only Office. Personally I prefer it over Libre Office.
Can everyone use Linux?
reddit.com/r/linux | 2021-09-15
OnlyOffice has good MS documents support
Please help me decide.

There is the pinebook pro for 200$ its much lighter then those devices but you would need to use OnlyOffice and that would be a deal breaker?

Personally I would redo the format using a latex template and edit it in overleaf. this is the one I use but there's lots of other popular ones.

Certainly, I‘d not dream of trying to design my CV with LaTeX. Using templates is a lot of fun though, like this one which has helped me secure two jobs!

ULPT REQUEST : As a fresher, how could I quickly build a decent resume for getting an interview opportunity in an IT company?
reddit.com/r/UnethicalLifeProTips | 2021-04-21
Do what I did and program your resume using RStudio, PanDoc and a LaTex template. Demonstrate your coding knowledge while making a really good looking resume. Then open it up in Adobe Acrobat. Make sure your PDF has sections where you wanted them in the table of contents outline. If you don't section your document correctly so you can read it on the sidebar navigator thing, it means Applicant Tracking Software will not be able to pick up thr contents of your resume. Put as many key words in your resume as possible including Java, even if you lie about taking some Java in highschool. Here is one example you can modify: https://github.com/posquit0/Awesome-CV
