    As a reference for anyone that knows or is willing to learn LaTeX, awesomecv is a very solid template that is easy to use, and is already set up on overleaf.

    Do what I did and program your resume using RStudio, PanDoc and a LaTex template. Demonstrate your coding knowledge while making a really good looking resume. Then open it up in Adobe Acrobat. Make sure your PDF has sections where you wanted them in the table of contents outline. If you don't section your document correctly so you can read it on the sidebar navigator thing, it means Applicant Tracking Software will not be able to pick up thr contents of your resume. Put as many key words in your resume as possible including Java, even if you lie about taking some Java in highschool. Here is one example you can modify:
