gust_tools VS atelier-sync-fix

It's fairly easy to rip from the game itself, take a look at Gust tools. I think the main problem with the script is just that you don't have the character names directly in the script files.

No, I used https://github.com/VitaSmith/gust_tools and then gathered the data that I needed with some programs that I wrote.

Download Gust Tools. The gust_pak utility will only be used for the installation of this mod.

I see from your posts that you have a steam deck, there's this mod for PC that improves performance a lot on PC and deck: framerates are almost doubled. It's kinda tricky to set up on deck but there are guides on this subreddit

Try this fix by TellowKrinkle. It usually works on previous Atelier game (not sure about this one)

With atelier-sync-fix, the game runs at about 40-50 FPS in 1440p on my GTX 980. On Steam Deck, the game can't lock 40 FPS unless you disable both AA and ambient occulusion (I recommend 30 FPS lock).

I'm playing on my GTX 980 @ 1440p with 40-50 FPS. Install atelier sync fix (TellowKrinkle) and it will run fine.

Tried with and without the Windows Atelier Fix from github and from loliii123's compiled version from this thread

If your only options are Switch or Steam Deck, I would suggest Switch. If Windows is an option, you can consider it (just make sure you install the lastest atelier-sync-fix).

You have to use TellowKrinkle's fork here, it's just that you need to compile it yourself and I've already done that and provided a download link to help others.

I was wondering if anyone ever got it to work on Windows. I seems to just crash on launch on any of the Steam versions of Atelier games I tried on Windows. It looks like a branch was started for Windows just last night, but I don't understand Git enough to actually parse out what's going on. Is this something that just needs compiled and would work? Has anyone had any luck?
