Since Godot 4.0, you have access to the content_scale_factor Window property, which is effectively a 2D scale factor that can be used with any stretch mode. You don't need to change the UI theme or scale Control nodes manually – doing so will lead to difficult-to-resolve problems. Check the Multiple Resolutions demo for 4.x.

The Godot 4 Platformer 3D demo uses a grid, and for me it doesn't have the issue you mentioned. Project here - https://github.com/godotengine/godot-demo-projects/tree/master/3d/platformer

Hello, thank you so much for your detailed answer! In the site, there's a demo project (Saving and Loading (Serialization) demo project) that helped me get a better grasp of how saving/loadng works. However, in this project exists only one scene/level, if i have multiple scenes/levels, how do i save those so the player will continue from the scene they saved on? Do i do this from the var save_dict ? How do i go about this?

I found a website that posts the compiled current build for you...you just have to download and run! :O

It's not in 4.0.alpha10, but you can build the master branch from source or download a nightly build. It will be in the next alpha :)

If you find yourself waiting for the bi-weekly alpha builds, you can just update early by grabbing one of Calinou's daily builds, or alternatively you can compile a build yourself.

I don't recommend that because it's still in alpha and not ready for use in production. But if you do want to get 4.0, you can get official alpha 2 here or daily builds here or here.

Glad it fixed things! For what it's worth, Godot 4.0 seems to resolve this issue. You can get nightly downloads here which also have export templates available.

Godot 3.4 is already out and an official alpha for Godot 4.0 will be released in the coming month, but you can already try it here it may still be quite buggy as the 4.0 add a lot of new stuff, but they are finally focusing on bug fixing more to release it than adding new things.
