Pluto IIx HDMI Mod not working
Hi there, I've tried to install the Pluto IIx Board in my GC, sadly it doesnt send any picture. I first tried to use the Helder Quick Solder Flex Cable, after it didnt work I soldered every contact by cable. (which was good, since the Flex Cable put the Board in the wrong position anyway) The Pluto Board I got is from KNJN Item#6117 Pluto-IIx XC3S200A HDMI Preloaded with GCLoader 3.1. According to Documentation form KNJN the USB-C Boards come with a presoldered 100Ohm resistor for the DDC, hence I didnt wire in a resistor. HDMI Analog Adapter on a PC Monitor works fine, same monitor, same cable in the Pluto Board gives no signal. One of the LEDs is lit constantly and again, according to documentation by KNJN one LED should blink regularly if it is operating correct. Sadly I cant find anything on what "constantly lit LED" means. The GC is DOL-001(EUR) I soldered every cable according to this guide: https://github.com/ikorb/gcvideo/blob/main/HDL/gcvideo_dvi/README.md

No video/sound from GameCube using Kaico hdmi converter
For one I would personally avoid Kaico alltogether, they are notorious cloners who take designs from others and pass them off as their own without even crediting the original creators. Secondly their product quality is often below of what other, more credible manufactours have to offer. Pretty much all of these digital out HDMI adapters are based on the open source GC-Video project. One product that I would recommend is the Retro-Bit Prism, it's the one that I personally use and had no issues with so far. One advantage of this particular adapter is its USB-C Port which allows for easy firmware updates without requiring a JTAG flasher or a GameCube that can boot into homebrew, just plug it into your PC and update. The Carby from Insurrection Industries is another great option. Whatever you go with I'd also recommend 3D printing a matching support brace. These adapters are quite heavy, esp. with an HDMI cable plugged in, and weigh down somewhat heavily on the digital out port. These braces hold the adapters upright and prevent, or minimize, any wear on the port from heavy weight.

Cheap options for good digital upscaler?
For the Gamecube, the highest-quality output is in a custom digital format reverse-engineered in the gcvideo project. The cables have to embed an FPGA chip to do the conversion, and that's part of what pushes the price up.

The Nintendo GameCube was the best console. You can’t convince me otherwise.
Since this is a digital signal, it's possible to convert it bit-perfect into HDMI using an FPGA. This is what the gcvideo project is. There are now many cheap GameCube HDMI adapters based on this project, like the Eon, Prism HD, etc. They're all basically the same, with just minor variations in manufacturing quality and features (like CRT filters, etc).

Has the Carby V3 released?
The hardware is the same... The only difference is the version of GCvideo https://github.com/ikorb/gcvideo/releases

GCVideo won’t save settings
I'd probably see about raising an issue on the GC Video Github. The GC Video developer seems to respond to most issues there and the last time this was flagged it was seen as a rather important issue.

Apple now allows retro game emulators on its App Store
Dolphin ships with a bunch of keys in the source code[0]. So do almost every other emulators for any console from 6/7th gen consoles (ps3, xbox360, gamecube), see delroth's post on the matter here[1]. It's really not that simple - jurisdiction matters a lot, and also Nintendo's own priorities.

Though these consoles did not support stereoscopy originally, the Dolphin emulator can add it and output SBS. My experience was a bit mixed. Your mileage may vary.

Am I the only one tired of the remakes?
You install Dolphin emulator, go into settings and make a folder for your games where it says "directory", and then you just stick your game in the folder. That's pretty much all there is to it, that's why I think Dolphin is the best emulator.

Platform: Gamecube. The remaster scrapped the local co-op entirely (booo). This one is a bit tricky but works perfectly once setup properly in Dolphin.
