here's hoping this subreddit will be friendly to homebrew link cable games, too! With https://github.com/rodri042/gba-link-connection, implementing link cable support in homebrew GBA games is very doable these days.

Apotris v2 is out now! You can now battle your friends via Link Cable!
I used this which saved me the trouble of dealing with the hardware! You can only send 2 bytes per frame, which was a lot more restricting than expected. The biggest challenge was making the little preview that shows you your opponent's board

There oughta be a WiFi Game Boy cartridge
If you want to take that cheating to the logical extreme, check out this project made by a friend. It's explicit in the title that it's just streaming, but pretty fun nonetheless!

Finally found the perfect screen replacement.
Although, looking at what is pre-existing in the world, I bet I could get Octopi to display a minimalist interface on a GBA if I steal some of this project's code. If only I could kick this reddit addiction I would have the time to try that.
