Unfortunately Google shelved it but they had a very similar project called Game Builder for Windows

Works perfectly under Linux with Wine or Proton.

It's really fun and worth a try if you are looking for something similar not on Mac

Scratch Is a Big Deal
I started something like this for a local hackathon to teach kids programming, but then COVID hit, the hackathon was canceled, and the project stalled.
