The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Placing a Voronoi diagram over a streetmap (using Python)?
There is also a Python geovoronoi package which I'm trying to use, but I don't know yet how I can integrate its Voronoi diagrams with a street map. (I believe - although I haven't fully explored this yet - that it's possible to create your own color dictionary to be used for the regions. So I suppose I can add transparency as well. )
What are some alternatives?
When comparing foronoi and geovoronoi you can also consider the following projects:

folium - Python Data. Leaflet.js Maps.
client-python - The official Python client library for the Polygon REST and WebSocket API.
FastGeospatial - FastGeospatial is a PostGIS geospatial api to enable geospatial analysis on geographical data within a spatial database.
geemap - A Python package for interactive geospatial analysis and visualization with Google Earth Engine.
leafmap - A Python package for interactive mapping and geospatial analysis with minimal coding in a Jupyter environment
