I'm mapping some election results, and trying to create a diagrammatic representation of who voted for whom, and where. I'm using Python, and I can create a perfectly respectable initial map (without Voronoi diagrams) using its folium package, with OpenStreetMap tiles. See https://numbersandshapes.net/posts/post_election_swings/.
There is also a Python geovoronoi package which I'm trying to use, but I don't know yet how I can integrate its Voronoi diagrams with a street map. (I believe - although I haven't fully explored this yet - that it's possible to create your own color dictionary to be used for the regions. So I suppose I can add transparency as well. )
