Rate my setup? 100hrs in but this is the first run that “clicked”
The tutorials are great way to learn the concepts. But if you know the basics, but don't remember the common ratios and numbers, this is a great bookmark: https://factoriocheatsheet.com/

2 hours 50 minutes and 54 seconds in, god help me
As others have said, there are some great mods to help you plan. If you want something at a glance, try https://factoriocheatsheet.com/ . It's got a bunch of the more used ratios for you to work with. I normally just overbuild, but it's really useful for figuring how many furnaces or assemblers I can fit before I need a second belt or to upgrade the belt.

What is a way to improve Power
you can power a lot off of steam/coal. Take a look at something like https://factoriocheatsheet.com/ to know how many burners can be supported on 1 line of yellow coal.

Thanks! I inspired my design off of something on steam or reddit I think. I definitely will keep pushing for the rocket! Im pretty good with designs, as ive played this game before a few times, and had gotten up to around the same point! Only website ive used for my other designs is https://factoriocheatsheet.com !

Today was the first time I calculated my own ratios in factorio. I have never experienced so many different emotions in 1 hour

New player
If you figure out how many of a given resource a recipe will need a second, and how many of the product it'll put out, you can start to get a sense of how the ratios between the machinery works. This website has a really good reference for vanilla ratios, and a whole bunch of other neat tips.

Hi I am new to factorio and this is my first factory, it makes logistic science pack or as I call it green stuff . sorry that it doesn't look big or impressive but I'm proud of it.
You can use factorio cheat sheet to alleviate the need to calculate recurrent and simple ratios. That said, going full blind is also a good way to experience factorio. Welcome aboard!

[IR3] Are Burner Miners actually cleaner than Steam Miners when burning charcoal?
To calculate the cost of burner inserters, I used 286 swings per coal (from my own testing), and then added additional mines to a factorio calculator to account for supplying the burners. Then I calculated the burner swings needed to supply the additional mines, and added even more mines to supply that, and repeated that process three times, after which the the tenth's place did not change. These additional miners providing fuel are not counted for useful output. I did not count the negative pollution from forestries.
