A Clutter-Free Life: Going Paperless with Paperless-Ngx
I used vackup [1] that’s been obsoleted but still works for me. However, you still need to turn of the container temporarily.

NVMe for Docker?
Will look into that one as the recent docker volume backup extension seems to only be for docker desktop https://www.docker.com/blog/back-up-and-share-docker-volumes-with-this-extension/ unlike its origin https://github.com/BretFisher/docker-vackup.

Backup/Crash Server advice
Docker came up with https://hub.docker.com/extensions/docker/volumes-backup-extension, to be used in Docker Desktop 4m10 or up, which is the continuation of Vackup https://github.com/BretFisher/docker-vackup.

Accidentally "reset to factory defaults", now my databases are gone?
Look at using something like vackup occasionally to backup volumes. Or occasionally run application level backups (mysqldump, pg_dump) that get stored to some location outside docker.
- I Can't Back Up Docker Volumes... Instead I get a tar loop that continuously writes nonsense data

Question from our chef
You can scan all the invoices into TIF / PDF format and then use a (free) program with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) like this (https://www.mayan-edms.com/) to index them. This will allow you to search for the key words with a filter on the date of scan.
- Software for sending files/media to clients for revisions/approvals?

Hermes, an Open Source Document Management System
There's also Mayan EDMS [1]. I have no experience with it, but looks sensible from the outside.
