discord-audio-pipe VS MusicBot

For background sounds, ambient music, cave sounds and battle music I've been using Discord Audio Pipe with Virtual Audio Cable and VLC for the past 2 years. It has worked so well I haven't even looked into any options. https://github.com/QiCuiHub/discord-audio-pipe

If you want to use sounds on your PC and prefer to use Discord, there is a software/bot called Discord Audio Pipe. There are a few Youtube videos explaining how to set it up as well, and it works well in my tests. I think it'll work better on a boosted Discord server, to improve the quality. I hope that helps!

JMusicBot is simple and easy, doesn't require docker. You just plop it in a directory somewhere in a VPS, download the requirements and run it as a service.

I've started using Jmusicbot. It's a bit tricky to setup and get running, but its reliable and pretty easy to work with once it's going!
