Replace boost beast http server code with uWebSockets (https://github.com/uNetworking/uWebSockets). This gives a much nicer interface, and makes it easy for us to add websocket support for clients in the future.

You are trying to draw a parallel to a placebo clinical trial and make a point that in the performance tests described in the article the library plays the role of the vaccine so it is the library which explains the performance difference. Therefore the library is good. If someone comes to this conclusion which you call 'Logical' then the article has achieved its intended purpose of promoting the library.
It's great to see the dev of a popular python library taking a stand against this apocalyptically bad fad
