Can I paste from registers (like in vim) in Linux?
Tmux has this feature. Although I use tmux all the time in the terminal, I don't use it though; instead I use a clipboard manager as it works outside of the terminal as well. I use clipmenu, which I have set to a shortcut which opens it's dmenu interface to choose which text I had recently cut or copied to paste.

Clipmenu via i3wm not copying to clipboard
I solved the issue now. I used an older state of https://github.com/cdown/clipmenu because i could not manage to get clipnotify working. At the end I "just" had missing Xatom.h to run the make install of clipnotify.

Dead by Daylight's Steam Deck Support is Official. Confirmed to Us by Behaviour Interactive.
Yeah I would take piper over any of that bloated peripheral software anyway, gets the job done. There's also other community projects like OpenRazer. For a keyboard I grabbed a System76 Launch, it's a bit pricey but it's super nice and fully customizable via an appimage.
