Any good tutorials for chrome extension development?
I used this boilerplate repo to rebuild one of my extensions. It has React and Typescript and was super helpful for updating to manifest v3.
-
Is there a framework for creating web extensions?
Extensions are made using normal html/css/js. So you could use react and there are boilerplates like this for it.

Is there any use for Next.js for Chrome/Browser extensions?
Hey all, I'm tinkering around with chrome extensions and have been using this Github Repo as a start off point - is there something similar for Next.js or would Next.js not work at all for such a thing?

Built a Chrome extension using React and AWS Amplify/Cognito for user authentication to sign up for free trials of subscription services. Plug-in generates a Stripe virtual card, manages your free trial, reminds you when it's over.

Building a Modern React Chrome Extension with a New Framework
We decided to tackle this problem by building a framework for browser extension development called Plasmo. It's a different way of thinking about browser extensions, and if you're used to building extensions, some things might look a bit weird.
-
We built an open-source framework for building modern Chrome extensions with React
Would love to get people to try it out and get feedback. Right now, we're focusing only on supporting React so that we can iron out all of the different edge cases that might arise, but will look to add other view frameworks like Svelte, Vue, etc. in the future! Here are the docs: https://docs.plasmo.com
