Building a Modern React Chrome Extension with a New Framework
We decided to tackle this problem by building a framework for browser extension development called Plasmo. It's a different way of thinking about browser extensions, and if you're used to building extensions, some things might look a bit weird.

Would love to get people to try it out and get feedback. Right now, we're focusing only on supporting React so that we can iron out all of the different edge cases that might arise, but will look to add other view frameworks like Svelte, Vue, etc. in the future! In this article, I chose a relatively simple example to illustrate Plasmo's key features. If you're interested in the subject, I implore you to take a closer look at their well structured documentation. They also provide a Github repository with over 50 powerful templates, including Supabase, Tailwind, NextJS, Svelte, React-Router etc.
