Ideas to store your keys
https://glacierprotocol.org/ - Very secure but time-consuming and expensive
-
If you HAD to store your seed phrase digitally, what would be the best way?
- I'd use the Glacier protocol to create the seed and not the Ledger itself.
-
PSA: My phone just guessed my private key. If you use mobile (phone) wallets, clear your text prediction cache.
Glacier Protocol might have adequate information to secure your cryptocurrency. Sure, the site says Bitcoin, but is, to my opinion and knowledge, applicable to anything related to cryptocurrency.

This is honestly the most practical way to use a hardware wallet. Don't know why everyone uses theirs on the desktop?
I recommend learning https://glacierprotocol.org for a understanding of how to remain secure with general hardware.
-
Seed Phrase Anxiety
I'd recommend following some of the work that's been done in this area, like the Tordl or Glacier wallet protocols to see some options.
- out of the loop: Why are people moving their coins from exchanges to private wallets?

Cold Storage Strategy
Glacier Protocol (https://glacierprotocol.org/), but with Electrum instead of individual private keys.

Cold Storage confusion
Hell, some people go pretty hardcore on self custody, look at this for example: https://glacierprotocol.org/

What computer set up should I use for maximum security?

- Might be a dumb question, but is there a way to store my BTC on something that isn’t a third party application? For example…

Coldcard post anti-forensics for paranoid people
As you can see, the default firmware of Coldcard is hardcoded with values d13e and cc10. We are going to change it to make it look like a benign USB device, more on it later. First, clone the original firmware from Github: https://github.com/Coldcard/firmware We now need to edit the file called ./stm32/COLDCARD/shared/usb.py: COINKITE_VID = 0xd13e CKCC_PID = 0xcc10

Hardware/Software wallets and backdoors implemented by different nations?
Software altered? You were supposed to download from source and flash it yourself. So why did you alter it? No one other than you could have altered it! https://github.com/Coldcard/firmware
- Multisig 2 of 3 for a single person, with all cold wallets as Tails + Electrum? Is it a good idea for safer security? Or just an unnecessary overkill?

5 year old tails safe?
Consider holding long term with a solution like this. Have you ever use a hardware wallet like a coldcard
-
Is it safe to buy bitcoin on a fidelity account?
Coldcard has many other security features as well. You can find more about them online. Probably the safest hard & cold wallet on the market right now. But most people don't buy it because of their $400 price tag. But definitely worth it for anyone holding more than a pretty penny.
