Ideas to store your keys
https://glacierprotocol.org/ - Very secure but time-consuming and expensive
-
If you HAD to store your seed phrase digitally, what would be the best way?
- I'd use the Glacier protocol to create the seed and not the Ledger itself.
-
PSA: My phone just guessed my private key. If you use mobile (phone) wallets, clear your text prediction cache.
Glacier Protocol might have adequate information to secure your cryptocurrency. Sure, the site says Bitcoin, but is, to my opinion and knowledge, applicable to anything related to cryptocurrency.

This is honestly the most practical way to use a hardware wallet. Don't know why everyone uses theirs on the desktop?
I recommend learning https://glacierprotocol.org for a understanding of how to remain secure with general hardware.

Seed Phrase Anxiety
I'd recommend following some of the work that's been done in this area, like the Tordl or Glacier wallet protocols to see some options.

Self-generated seedphrase.
Much easier, you don't have to try so many words, maximum 16 words. It's described here: https://github.com/taelfrinn/Bip39-diceware

Scammed
I think it's best to create your own seed phrase, but the last word has to meet the checksum requirements ane I couldn't get it to work. Here is a tutorial but it didn't work for me - I might try again if I have the time: https://github.com/taelfrinn/Bip39-diceware
- Where can I realistically keep my keyphrase? I am a traveler with no home.
- Do I need a wallet (software) to use BitCoin?
- This can’t be so difficult... eth paper wallet?

Paranoid Security question
If there's concern about the RNG, you can [manually generate a key using dice](https://github.com/taelfrinn/Bip39-diceware). Real randomness! Call me paranoid, but IMO it's worth the extra 30 minutes or whatever. One less thing to trust.
- Is it still "my keys, my crypto"?
- LEDGER HELP! Is this text new? Or got this device hacked before? The package was a bit weird.
