Crosscheck of private seed generation plan
I did exactly what you described. I generated my seed with dices and a coin and brute-forced the 24th word on a Tails installation on a USB Stick in a complete offline environment and wiped everything afterwards.

Scammed
I think it's best to create your own seed phrase, but the last word has to meet the checksum requirements ane I couldn't get it to work. Here is a tutorial but it didn't work for me - I might try again if I have the time: https://github.com/taelfrinn/Bip39-diceware

Paranoid Security question
If there's concern about the RNG, you can [manually generate a key using dice](https://github.com/taelfrinn/Bip39-diceware). Real randomness! Call me paranoid, but IMO it's worth the extra 30 minutes or whatever. One less thing to trust.
