There has been a lot of library restructuring and redesigning the past months.
A new library has been added axl.ge, being for a game engine. All my attention and effort is on this library and its dependencies, axl.ds, axl.math, and axl.glfl.

As for axl.gl, I will be coming back to update it once I'm done with axl.ge. Since most of the implementations are from axl.gl, it won't be hard to upgrade it.

I have been working on this opengl based C++ library. axl.gl but moved on to axl.ge which is targeted to be a light weight game engine. The thing is the fully functional textinput class you are looking for is in axl.ge. 13MB source size. Freetype2 takes most of the space

If you are looking for a simple library then check out this axl.gl. It's a beta work in progress. But it is enough for making games from scratch. I am also redesigning a new one specialized for 2D axl.GE2D
