AssetPlacer 🌳 is on sale (20%) this weekend! Part of the proceeds go to the Godot Foundation 💙
No, don't have a roadmap yet. Good idea though. Issues can be posted under https://github.com/CookieBadger/assetplacer-docs/issues but so far everything seems to be in order. The newer source package come with a changelog.

Need help...
Spatial Gardener also uses multimeshes (multiple of them) together with LODs. Pretty cool plugin for 3.5

Migrating from Unity to Godot 4. Is it possible to use forward+ for mobile devices?
This terrain editor is Godot 4 compatible. https://github.com/sboron/terrain-tool-godot4 For foliage, you may want to check this out. https://github.com/dreadpon/godot_spatial_gardener

Another area that this plugin does not touch on that much is foliage painting. Unreal has a wonderful tool integrated for that. Godot has the Spatial Gardener for 3.x made by one guy who was never to be heard of again, definitely a great plugin, but in 4.0 you have to hope, that somebody has forked and migrated it...

How I switched from Unity to Godot. Godot is amazing! - A appreciation post
Check out Spatial Gardener for example for easy instancing your scene objects. It has built in LOD system using multimesh Octtree for great performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_59aTeljpg
- Spatial Gardener v1.1.0 - a very first update for my foliage painting plugin!
- Recently I wanted to give Godot some foliage painting tools. I completely forgot about a project that required it but the tool itself is here, heh. Go nuts, guys!
