In my setup I have a VM with 2 CD drives attached. Insert disc, starts up abcde to rip with my settings, copies ripped files to a processing folder, and then I have beets running every few hours on that for metadata/file naming/final archiving. Works great I wish I could give you a better explanation but I set it up years ago and it "just works".

Picard to me is a MUST, even in combination with Clementine or Rythymbox. Beets is also really useful in combination with the others.

I don't love beets because it still doesn't support multi-value tags at all. The discussion & work on this essential feature has been going on for 8 years now. Without multi-value tags, I have no use for beets because I couldn't possibly manage my collection.

Install beets and then run it as a lidarr connection on post grab with lyrics enabled in beets config.
I think I should have tagged my SACD and high bitrate files better so I can find them.

I have a separate beets config file for each folder. Probably bordering on unnecessary with the "sacd wv cue" top-level folder but I like to keep 1:1 backups when I can.
