    You can use software like beets ( that can automatically search for metadata from Musicbrainz, Discogs etc. but it's not 100% reliable.

    Sure thing! Beets is a tagger like Mp3tag, but access through command line. It can be configured all kind of ways and pull id3 data from a number of sources (like Bandcamp, among others).
