Trying to replicate the set up linked in the comment but getting this result. The screen size seems wrong, can't type in the terminal and the screen highlighted on the bar doesn't always match the screen I'm on. Are these logs I can check or anyone who might know what's wrong here?

[Noob asking for help] Wallpaper overlaps terminal and more
Hi guys its my first time configuring a customized desktop and I chose these dotfiles because it looked simple and nice: https://github.com/WillPower3309/awesome-dotfiles. Theme and wallpaper load fine, but the left and upper bar dont work, and when I open a terminal the wpp overlaps it. Ive been checking config files with the system terminal but i dont know what to change/add so im basically lost. If someone can give me a hint or something Id appreciate it. Im using Arch (btw).

Manjaro-Awesome
In case you didn't know these kinds of files are often called dotfiles (just because they're often named as something like .config) You can find people's personal dotfiles all over github or by just googling awesomewm dotfiles. I personally like Derek Taylor's (DistroTube) dotfiles, but I also found these right away by googling.

Need help, I've been stuck for days trying to create transparency for a file manager
I'm using a premade config/dotfiles which can be found here - I'm using the 'mirage' theme.

Recommend me DE or Window Manager
Yes, it can go tiling, maximized and floating on each workspace individually Easy 10 terminals next to each other (usually in my configuration that was i borrowed from here it spawns at right, but i can move them easily, it's purely up to you how they would spawn)

Newbie to window manager, why use awesome over other dynamic wm ?
Awesome is very different from other window managers...It's a framework window manager! Through its API you can create widgets that are not possible in other WMs (ex: [1],[2],[3].[4]). Furthermore, AwesomeWM can be used as a tiling window managers and as a stacking window managers (like XFCE).

Dropdown menu in awesome wm

Window gets moved to other screen when clicking on a tag
I 'm assuming you created the "switch_stop" tag? Unless, you're changing the taglist names (I don't see any purpose for the "id = switch_stop"). The tag names or 'id' in this context can be found here, https://github.com/manilarome/the-glorious-dotfiles/blob/master/config/awesome/linear/configuration/tags/init.lua .

What awesome wm "thing" do you think needs "noob friendly" documentation the most?
I would also recommend read through other ppls configurations on GitHub like Manilarome, JavaCafe or even mine which I think are pretty decent
