Hello everyone! First of all, I am new to this whole world of Linux. A few days ago I downloaded awesome, to customize my environment a little more. Obviously, since I'm new, I grabbed a guy's dot files on github. Well, once I finished installing everything following all the steps, when I login to awesome, for a second it loaded the environment configured by the guy, but was instantly replaced by the default Awesome environment. However, when I right-click on the desktop or tap to search for something, the menu that pops up is the guy's settings. While the desktop, wallpaper, polybar, etc. It has default settings ie as soon as you install awesome. Somebody could help me? I would appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
