[Question] Is it worth getting iPhone 5S just for jailbreak and fun with it?
(And just to tempt you further, here is a link for the tool I would have used to downgrade my 5s: https://github.com/MatthewPierson/Vieux) (hopefully you have a Mac, but there are other tools I think if you don't.)

[HELP] Trying to downgrade iPhone 5S 12.5.6 with an OTA 10.3.3 blobs
This is not how you downgrade 5s to iOS 10. I used Vieux in the past to do so.

Just bought myself an early Christmas present today, I'm so excited! upgrading to a 2022 6th gen Pro 12.9 256gb from a 2011 2nd gen 64gb (A1396). it's been a VERY long time coming 😂
Using a utility like Vieux. The iPad will need to be jailbroken and you'll need a Mac to run this script.

[Question] Beta version that can install iPhone 5.

-
iPad mini 2 both 2.01 and 2.1 get stuck on exploiting device and the iPad just stays in dfu mode. I’m using a hackintosh could that be why?
I had this problem too, you might need to try another utility called Vieux https://github.com/MatthewPierson/Vieux

Anything special about iPhone 4s running iOS 6?
You can install iOS 6 on any iPhone 4S by using a special method. So these scalpers are taking iPhone 4S's, downgrading them to this older version, and selling them for a higher price as if they were rare.

[Question] Is it possible to downgrade a 5s to some old version?
Downgrading to 10.3.3 is possible, here is one of many tools that can do it: https://github.com/MatthewPierson/Vieux

[question] How do I safely restore an unverified IPSW to a iPad 2?
You can try Vieux or iOS OTA downgrader. If you are not familiar with using terminal, here is step-by-step manual from guy, who did exactly the thing you want to do: manual.

- I have a 5c with a dead baseband. I'm trying to use futurerestore to restore it from recovery mode (there's no ios on it), but it just does.... Nothing? It says this about 5 seconds after pressing start, nothing changes on the phone (no reboot, just stays in recovery mode). How do I fix this?

[question] My iPhone 5,2 is stuck in recovery mode after restoring with my 7.1.1 blobs using Luke’s OTA downgrader, apparently it’s a baseband issue but I don’t know how to fix it. anyone have a fix/know another way to downgrade my 5 with blobs?
Try using s0uthwest's futurerestore fork to restore instead. (It's likely not a baseband issue - 10.3.4's baseband works for me on 5,2 7.0.6)
